No Blow Gardenwaste and Recycling Bags
Since introducing our range of Kerbside Recycling Bags over 5 years ago we have now become one of the leading UK suppliers of standard and bespoke bags for the collection of Gardenwaste and Greenwaste, Newspapers, Plastic, Glass and Cardboard.
In 2005 we introduced the now very popular weighted base "No Blow Bag" LBK Packaging with over 175 years experience in the packaging industry released the newly developed “No Blow Bag” available in 40, 90 and 120 litre sizes as standard for the kerbside collection of items such as plastics, cans, newsprint and greenwaste.
Many local authorities have chosen reusable woven polypropylene bags for their compactability, versatility, popularity within the recycling community, low initial cost and extremely long life. One problem, however remained – the propensity for the bags to sometimes blow away in high winds when left empty in the street. With this in mind LBK developed and introduced the “No Blow Bag” to their already extensive range of kerbside collection bags. The bag has a weighted base adding approximately 1 kilo in weight to each bag preventing it from being blown away in most cases. Due to the solid, square design of the base it also assists in keeping the bags shape making it easier to fill for the householder.
The bags can be produced with all the extra’s previously supplied including full velcro flap closure to prevent spillage, coloured fabric to identify between various recyclables, printing to instruct householders of what to and what not to place in the bag and coated fabric to add a degree of waterproofing and rigidity.
